my values
My Approach
You will have the liberty to express yourself, without judgement or made to feel not normal. You will be accepted, supported, heard and validated so that you can make the changes necessary to become the best version of yourself.
My process in working with individuals and families follows the person-centered approach. I begin the session by identifying your current concerns and your expectations of therapy. Next, we discuss important early life experiences and current situations that can provide insight into the problem you are experiencing. Then, we will work together to identify the behaviors and uncover ways to develop customized techniques to address these behaviors and your needs. I enjoy working with all people from various walks of life; however, I mainly specialize in working with clients from late childhood to middle adulthood.
how we work together
-
schedule a consultation
A 15-minute consultation includes a discussion about your needs. We determine if I am a good match and I answer any questions you have. We conclude our consultation with scheduling your first session.
-
Our first session
We meet via zoom for our teletherapy session to complete an in-depth discussion about your family history, your upbringing, current problems. I want to get to know you so that I can help guide you in positive and empowering direction.
-
Create a plan for transformation
We create a plan with achievable goals while integrating therapeutic modalities to support your path to healing. A tailored plan just for you with specific areas of improvements you would like to see in yourself. We schedule our sessions to meet weekly or bi-weekly depending on your need.
